Crucibles fire and arts festival 2009

So this year i decided to volunteer with the Fire and Arts festival. I met amazing people, saw brilliant technologies and creative displays. I shared it with 15000 strangers, maybe more. I learned behind the scenes action and watched people pull off something amazing. I really am blessed. Mostly though for my own ability to go off and do what I love, freedom.

My buddy ian will be out in aug, and his tattoo shop will be opening a shop out here!

a very simple couplet

the shoes i once loved are in the trash
dirty, left behind with the dust
the breaking in pain
long past
my feet are clean
no holes in the soles
neat and pristine
i feel like a queen
as i walk down the street
with brand new shoes
quiet and neat
i think of the old
better now are my feet
as my wardrobe is once again complete.
